Welcome to the Ballyfermot Heritage Site

One of the purposes of this site is to create an accessible database of the collections of Ballyfermot Heritage materials,  held at Dublin City Council's Ballyfermot Public Library .

Help Us
It is our aim to build a very comprehensive catalogue of historic Ballyfermot materials. You can help us in several ways:
  1. Volunteer to help us with the catalogue
  2. Help us identify sources. There are many photographs in our collection where we do not have adequate information about the subject of the photo. If you recognize a photo, people in the photo or if you were there when it was taken, we would like you to contact us and share your knowledge of Ballyfermot History.
