CoisCéim Dance Theatre & Dublin City Council cordially invite you to DANCE ARIAS in the presence of the Lord Mayor Emer Costello at
The Round Room, adjacent to the Mansion House, Dawson St., Dublin 2
Sunday 30 May at 3.00 pm
Over 150 people aged 50+ have taken part in a citywide dance project
with CoisCéim Dance Theatre. Over six weeks, participants have worked
with CoisCéim choreographers Bolger, Philippa Donnellan and Emma O'Kane
creating short dance sequences to some of the most famous opera arias of
all time. This is an opportunity to celebrate with some of the
participants and to watch some memorable performances.
Admission is free. Seating is available on a first come first served
basis. Standing room is also available. Doors open 2.15 pm.
Performance lasts approximately 40 minutes
DANCE ARIAS: a celebration of dance and opera is a partnership project between CoisCéim Dance Theatre and Dublin City Council's Arts, Sport & Leisure, and Community Development Sections as part of Bealtaine 2010.
