Do you want to grow your business by word of mouth referrals? As part of the services provided by Dublin West Chamber, we are now introducing a fortnightly networking meeting.
The second session will take place on Wednesday 10th March at 7.00am in the Civic Centre, Ballyfermot Road. This event is designed to help business raise their profile and give them exposure to companies in the area. It is also designed for you to get to know the other members of the chamber so that they can become familiar with your work in the hope that they may recommend you to one of their existing clients, friends, suppliers etc. and vice-versa. These type of networking events have been around for a long time, past records have shown that the average amount of business generated in a year is around €30,000. I have talked to a number of business involved in this type of work and have heard people stating that they earned as much as €250,000 in a year from the networking event alone. Word of mouth is one of the best ways of getting your business out there. We are now offering this service as part of your Chamber membership at no extra cost. So please come along and take the chance to grow your business.
The format on the day will be as follows:
7.00am - 7.20am Networking with tea and coffee
7.20am Introduction to the concept of this type of networking.
7.25am Pat Rowan from Icon Business Solutions will do a presentation on Business Development.
7.35am We will all get to talk about our business ( 1 minute per person) and the type of clients we are looking for. If we know the potential customer by name and are looking for an introduction, even better.
8.05am 10minute presentation. A member will get to do a PowerPoint presentation about their own business every week.
8.15am Once established, we will pass around any referrals at this stage.
8.15am Ben Doyle will do a 10 minute presentation on the West Dublin Chamber of Commerce and inform people what it is all about.
8.25am close of meeting.
We are asking members to try to bring 2 - 3 guests each and please remember to bring PLENTY of BUSINESS CARDS on the day !!!
